A very good long standing friend told me but it came to him directly from Methven.

I've not heard any mention of it anywhere else.

The lad doesn't post on here but is reading this thread so I'd be sure the two of them discuss what's posted.

If i posted on here I'd be busted ...

Probably journo's putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 but World News (Australian ABC Radio) apparently mentioned that Arsene Wenger would be interested in the Sunderland job.

I didn't hear it myself but my father in law rang me to tell me. Had a quick google and couldn't find anything so it's probably bullshit.

It certainly is. Personally i don't believe it and as i said nothing on the net that i can find other than a Bein interview where he says that he wants to get into management.

The journo over here said that Wenger would consider a job in a lower league and i guess that's where they assumed Sunderland.

Tbf the Mods have helped and, as more decent people post info, it's calmed down.
