They aren't involved in running the Marlins in any way. They simply provided finance to the owners in the form of preference shares giving them a guaranteed dividend. They're effectively the bankers of a leveraged buy out.

Thank god you cleared that up immediately or there would be 100 pages of uninformed drivel saying we won't be getting owt financially from this takeover.
