Takeover Rumours

At this point I should admit I've been set up, by Stewart Donald, to distract people's attention from what's actually happening ...

... he's run off with all the silver from the trophy cabinet and bought an island in the Bahamas

He was in Charters yesterday keeping a fairly low profile, whilst Charlie Methven was instantly recognisable.

As an aside, who was the suited bloke with Methven in the pub yesterday?

Thank God for that, I was getting worried that the takeover was real 😃

From around the time Donald was taking over:
“His association with the club can be partly ascribed to a meeting with Glenn Hoddle, the former England manager whom he has become friendly with. Hoddle was interested in being part of Donald’s project to buy a club in 2012. The partnership did not materialise but in the course of their discussions Hoddle mentioned Eastleigh as a potential target. He is a lifelong supporter of League One Oxford United and his company Bridle insurance were once the club’s main sponsor.”

Not sure if already posted, but connecting the dots, Hoddle is involved. Perhaps he has a bigger part to play in things if he knows both Donald and the Americans?

Hope he has not sold him health insurance then!

ooh bit defensive there eh. if you're that in the know, how come it wasnt you started the thread? . it took you 3 days to even reply in this thread and even then it was just talking about if it goes ahead etc, then all of a sudden you know people who were in the office, people who have glenn fuhrman as a best mate, someone who is best mates with putin, people texting you from a solicitors office
The stench of gravy and bitterness is strong with this one.
