Takeover Rumours

Us fans should calm down and hope that it does come to fruition.
If it does, then obviously, we are not going to have access to untold riches but we would hope we would have the finances in place to support our march back to the Premier League.
That’s all we should be thinking about right now.
Getting back there is not a given either. Be realistic, this team won’t get us there. This recruitment team won’t either.
Yes I am excited, who wouldn’t be, but all I am interested in is that they support us financially to get back where we belong. Anything else is a bonus.

These things do take time, deals do sometimes take a little getting over the line. Helps corporate finance departments get their bonuses (not said as a bitter mainstream auditor in the past!!!)

Was Reiver going to add beyond his post of a friend who new more of the state of affairs than he or us? Or have I missed it?

spot on marra, lets get to the point of new ownership and take a sigh of relief and then piss this league, the takeover should spur us on..lets hope

So you don’t think we’ll be playing champions league football within 5 years?
 
Remember the last big rumour of takeover with a convincing itk off here. Went from being on a high to hearing it all fell through then appointing grayson and rock bottom. Thats why until its done will always be dubious.

I genuinely don’t remember that. Maybe a random thread of made up bollocks. Nothing like this, with worldwide coverage and multiple posters giving insight.

He is meeting him on Sunday, after his trip to Posh on Saturday, expect an update from him early Sunday afternoon

Fair enough like but these lads were at the match last weekend.
 
I'm not that fussed about world domination. All I want is a competitive team where the opposition dread playing us, especially at home.

The chance to win the odd cup would be nice.

So hopefully this takeover will help me see my team actually compete instead of being cannon fodder and the butt of everyones jokes.
