Takeover Rumours

i think 'miss safc' could well be kildare returning but losing his pretendy dyslexia.

as for the thread, i have no reason to believe or disbelieve any of the info posted by any of the posters...i have zero 'evidence' that a take over is/is not going to happen but as already said i was enjoying the fact that everyone seemed to be 'going with the flow' and having good bit banter and a few laughs along the way, now, as usual there is a wee bit of the old 'he said, she said' crap going on and i guess best part of us would prefer to see it stop.

some still wondering why anyone would choose us above some higher placed club, i think most reasons have been stated but there is also the vaux development site and a massive riverside that could prove to be a sound investment for the right group, the club may well be just a small part of the bigger plans...this could be massive for the town never mind the club itself or it might never happen but for once, let's just take the view that something, finally, is going to go right for the club and the area, god knows it is needed.

disclaimer: none of the above is based on any solid evidence or ITK type info and is merely speculation from a bored but interested forum member.
Reading this on my phone in a hotel bar in Bristol. With my fat fingers it's hard to type a coherent sentence, however you have more or less posted my thoughts. Have a like mate.

If its about the deal I was told Saturday morning that the new investors would be at the match, had agreed the deal and Deloittes had been all over the books and signed them off - only waiting for the EFL who because of a Bank Holiday and Bolton/Bury we have not been their priority.
Yeah it’s about the deal. And you’ve confirmed what others have said. Some of the usual suspects as ever seem determined to piss on people’s chips though x

True, but when things veer back towards the madness of reality it starts to get a little bit frightening. Life imitating art imitating life. Nightmarish, Kafkaesque world in which ultimately we're executed for unnamed crimes. Sounds like real life again. Or diz it....
Ah Kafkaesque, the perfect description of the doom mongers on here ( you know who you are). Questioning people's statements, then when challenged on this they respond with another question whilst never answering the question at hand until everybody forgets what the question was in the first place. Boris is a particular fan of this.

I guess EFL will come under extreme pressure to do a U turn as long as checks carried out stack up. Staying in Div 1 is crucial to the club and potential new owners, not to mention the fans, imagine it was us!

Did you see how the FA treated our Ladies team ? Honestly if this had been us, I expect the FA / EFL would have thrown us out before the start of the season. They have previous you know, banned all our directors and manger for life in the 1950's when evidence for breaching maximum wage regulations, only to rescind the regulations two years later when top London clubs were also exposed (the lifetime bans for our guys were NOT revoked).

I do feel very sorry for the fans, but at the minute this situation is making a joke of the league competition. It should have been sorted during the Summer well before the new season started, and prevaricating like this has made the situation worse for everybody. If action had been taken during the Summer, I would expect Bury could have been reorganised and be playing football in a lower league right now and be on their way back up. NOW they will not be able to start playing for another 12 months which is a massive drain on the club and its supporters. Poor weak EFL management has badly let down Bury and its supporters (IMHO).

I was just thinking it's an excuse not to talk to the missus, marra.
I come on here to avoid watching Eastenders with Mrs sauce, and then i read some of the posts on here, from a minority, and i think i would have been happier watching that misery of a program

I nearly crapped myself the other night. I thought i heard the wife falling down the stairs , but it was the end of the bloody program!
