Dunno if it’s been mentioned but could what’s happened at bury make them hold off announcing all this? I mean it’s not our fault but more of a respect thing? Would look a bit unsavoury them going out of business and losing their club while we roll out that we’ve become one of the richest clubs in the world?

Like I say, not our issue really but might be in their thinking.

Dont think we can go to 75k. Remember when it was built, think it was bob said its built to be easily extended and this could be done all the way around which would take it to 68k
 
Personally think it’ll be announced after the window closes at 5pm on Monday.

Hopefully that’ll be on the back of a decent performance tonight, a win in a tough game Saturday and a left back coming in.

The upper tier can go all the way around to take the SOL to approx 65,000 at relatively cheap costs per seat.

However I have it on good authority that there is a possible option to add a further tier on top of the West Stand that could add 10,000. Costs would be more though

How the fuck if this happens will SAFC suddenly become one of the richest clubs in the world ? These guys might have a few dollars but they won’t be pumping it all into the clubs coffers as some seem to think!

Imagine the costs of building anything nowadays compared to when we built the SOL would be astronomical. Biggest cost would not be roof or seating but most likely moving out the concourse and foundations

Even if we could, it's useless information as it'll never happen.

We'd struggle to sell out 50,000 let alone 75,000+.

Must be more. The north stand upper added 6. I would imagine the south stand upper we had planning permission for a few year ago would add another 6 taking it to 54. Think a west stand and 2 corner extensions would added more than 8 onto that
