You're over thinking every aspect of this despite having very little actual knowledge.

You'll dee yersel a mischief if you don't calm down.
He's digging away furiously, trying to find any negative he can, add to that, his spelling is worse than mine and I think what have here is mag.... ;)

you may need this.......god speed.

.... here we go, my suicide note for this board if it goes wrong.

I'm seeing a fella on Sunday at his home in Berkshire who's a real high flyer. He's just told me that one of his best mates, Glen Fuhrman, is the new Sunderland owner.

I couldn't talk long as he's just driving back from the south of France but he's promised to give me the full story on Sunday.

I'm just off out but that's all I have anyway, as far as I'm concerned it's a done deal.
Can I just say it’s great having people like yourself on this board giving bits and pieces of valuable info. Cheers.

OK boys & girls, here we go, neck on the line.

So how much is he worth? Is he the major investor and the other's less so?

a few brown envelopes will sort out the council as everyone knows
The council want to develop the site that’s why they have bought it in blocks when they became available. Nothing to do with brown envelopes . Rolls Royce moved their production to a new site in Washington with a combination of money from the sale of the land and government grants . The same can happen with Thompson’s.

I don't know Sheepfolds too well. What buildings around there would be considered historically or architecturally valuable?
The Railway Stables for definite. Many uses for this building if the area is redeveloped. If I had the money and the rest of the area was looking to be overhauled I would do something similar to what Canterbury did with one of their listed building (look up the Goods Shed). Currently without anything else in the area to attract people other than matchdays, it wouldnt be a viable option. Id like to see it as a big craft ale and foodhall (Poetic License/Roker Hotel style. But like I say, pointless on non matchdays as there is hardly any footfall

Also... Personally Id try and move the old Doxford & Sons entrance to sheepfolds and use it in the makeup of retaining some of our local history. Its a travesty that its left to ruin currently
