I don’t know Rivs background at all but I do know that through this board he has helped 100s of MLFs (including me, a stranger to him) get tickets for games. You can find him at most away games doing this for other fans while the rest of us are on the drink.
He is SAFC and MLF through and through. A lot us have stuff to be grateful to him for. He backs up what he says on here with consistent action. When he asks people what they do apart from type on here he is doing that from a sound place.

Nice storey that. Also nice that you stand up for your helper. I'm gonna give you a like, you never once called me there...commendable.

This would be a big deal if it were a PL club, it will change all of our lives

With the potential for Mr Dell being more involved in the future too by the sounds of it if things go well.

ah man imagine in 10 year or something..we could be being asked our best XI ever and it could well be that squad at the time. (with an exception of Magic on the wing of course)

I know a load of fans come from the Durham, Gateshead even North Tyneside area but you often hear them claiming most fans are from outside of Sunderland and slagging mackems off
Had one telling me this one time, asks me where I’m from, when I said go to all the games and I’m from Ryhope he says “well that’s practically Durham.”
I'm not from Sunderland but don't have a go at Sunderland people, in fact we get derogatory Geordie remarks made all the time in here. However the area our fans come from, Durham, Tyneside, Sunderland and further afield is a strong point and without being able to quote numbers, forms a large amount of our support. Let's not let it become a divisive thing though, more a positive.

I travel, I spend, my rights, its all about you son. You do sound quite narcissistic. Start thinking about other people and the hardship they have living under the Sunderland City Council.

Sunderland council doing excellent regeneration work 😆 😆 😆 On your vast travels, been through the Town centre recently, its a shit tip. Its been allowed to stagnate for decades with little or no funding.

Vaux site now to be the new home for the Council, "City Hall". Its took 20 years for this momentous decision, they are planning to throw in housing too, WHOOPEE. I suggest you mind your own business....outsider.
As been said by other posters you are a mag. possibly...stupid yes.

Stand for election or get a job in regeneration at the Council (it would be a doddle with your experiences and no doubt qualifications) and show us what you can do. You certainly have a lot to say.

Haway then please tell how i'm a mag. Please refrain from the insults unless you like it back.

Compared to people like Dell there's a fag paper between everyone on here.

I'm not from Sunderland so not biased in any way.

We once decided to travel up the A19, into town on the A690, park at the University and walk to the SOL ...

... but look at the place as if we were away supporters.

It's absolutely fine with decent housing, trees & parks and regeneration going on.

Compare that to the walk to Villa Park ffs, scruffy as can be.

TBH some of the people who badmouth the town most are thse who live there and don't seem to appreciate it.
Like I said earlie rin the thread, Sunderland isn't Beverley hills, but I've been to far worse places. It's often said there's a North/South divide but, the likes of Southend, Wycombe and Shrewsbury are from idyllic.

Exactly. Im getting abuse off a dick on here for travelling a hundred miles to support our club. :)

Sunderland has got it's faults, just like any other place, recovering from the loss of industry is a major problem, along with the poorly paid jobs here, leaving people with less disposable income, but, it's a place I enjoy living in, never feel threatened and there's nowhere I wouldn't walk through day or night.
What I do know, is that every single person I've brought up here from the south, were gobsmacked at how nice it was here and it was genuine praise, I was down the beach on Friday morning and it was beautiful, ten minute drive from my doorway, I'll take that over Oxford st any day.

Just throwing this in. I know it’s Wiki but Wolves is the interesting one. How would that differ from the position we may potentially find ourselves in?
