Takeover Rumours

They are Americans however and you have had one of them already, When Americans invest, they borrow the money first, and they aren't big on individual accountability or taking any personal risk. The fact that a few people who could afford your club all on their own are grouping together would concern me if it was happening at Newcastle. The takeover would be starting with the club in debt.

Peterlee Mag is bricking it ^^^

Can we all please stay on topic.

Sordid details of certain NUFC fans extra curricular activities is not really what we want to see on PF.

If anyone wants to read about such topics then I understand specialist publications are available, such as the Evening Chronicle.

Thank you.
You just made me spit wine over my keyboard you bassa

Literally the opposite to how MSD operate looking at their previous ventures also.

Should have researched before making a blanket statement about how all Americans operate financially.

iv always wondered, what with life being so short, if you have ten billion, why do you want 15 billion? why not just relax and enjoy life

They are wired up different to normal blokes.

Most people would enjoy life and do very little if they dropped 10 million on the lottery. I would invest a bit in property for my kids future.

But to be successful in business on that scale it is just got the money, it's for the thrill of success of risking money to make more. Has to be.

yup are we supposed to think all english owners are shit because of mike ashley

A good question mate. I know and have worked with/for a number of high net worth people in the £10-300M bracket and whilst they do enjoy beautiful homes, luxury cars, boats and planes and great schools for their kids etc they are all still driven to get up every day and keep making more money. Maybe it's a personality type (driver-drivers), partly there appears to be an element of competitiveness with peers too, the buzz of winning appears to be like a drug with the production of more money giving only a brief high so its quickly onto the next deal. I had a client sell one of his businesses for around £20M profit which appeared to satisfy him for about 2 or 3 days. These peoples minds are swirling non stop it seems to me, they would die of boredom just relaxing, playing sports, going on holiday etc they cannot switch off from what drives them to do what they do.

Beat me to it mate and what you said it is from personal experience not just guessing like me! 😂

Not overly bothered about doing a city.

Some financial clout to upgrade the ground and Academy and mainly upgrade the skeleton staff we seem to be working with.

Not sure how many coaches we have but it seems jack , his marra and keeper coach do a hell of a lot.

Plus scouting needs a big lift.

I think the important part is we will be able to compete with the best at every level we get to. Also we will have access to the very best financial and commercial people in the world to boost our revenue and promote the club
No link lad
Sorry mate I'm useless with stuff like this. There is a video on ALS or RR of the 3 of them before the match walking into the stadium

So these billionaires were attracted by the passion and dignity of the Sunderland supporters ...
... meanwhile on Tyneside
Americans love underdog films man, rocky, the mighty ducks etc. The arrogant fucks in films always get their comeuppance, hopefully they will make this pan out in real life 🤣

Think this is incredibly important. It's one thing to artificially boost the club by throwing money at the problem but if there's people who can actually boost revenue, we could be onto something.
