Owt in the national press today about it?
That was to do with Sports Direct, and was when he was already owner. He wouldn't have failed the EFL test for that anyway.Wasn't Ashley summonsed to a govt select committee to explain some of his work practices for his staff though? Is that the fit and proper test they're talking about at EFL?
If there was a moral test, he'd fail that...shocking practice for any business to adopt. That was to do with Sports Direct, and was when he was already owner. He wouldn't have failed the EFL test for that anyway.
Stand back everyone - Mr Dullard has entered the room - lighten up lad
donald and methven arent going man ffsI will when the deal is done and over the line. Please don't act like these new potential new owners are. That's all I am saying.
It will be sad to see Donald and Metheven go but these new people whoever they are (I know the boss of the Dell computer company is one but the others are a mystery to me) have more money if they manage to somehow agree terms. But the deal has to be done first.
I read something the other day that said if Jeff Bezos (Amazon Gadgie) spent £1million a day, it would take 440 years to get through his wealth.
Donald and Methven aren’t going though.I will when the deal is done and over the line. Please don't act like these new potential new owners are. That's all I am saying.

imagine if we lost our billionaires cos a few blokes had to get home for their teaThat will be sickening if the early leavers have put them off mind.

Is this truth or fans bollocks?
What fans need to realise is that the Jan transfer window should this all go ahead, we will still be hampered by FFP and I can imagine will be operating a 1 out 1 in policy. The key board warriors need to pipe down if we haven't spent millions on players. It just ain't gonna happen.
However where it will benefit is if promotion is achieved. Stating the obvious but between naming rights of stadium (which is inevitable) and new kit sponsor, it may give us additional capital on top of transfer budget to make a push, but again FFP next season and possible new EFL proposals on salary caps may hamper who can be brought in
seriously are you a full shilling? the deal has been done its just awaiting ratification, for once in your life cant you just look on the bright side?I don't know the specifics of the deal if by some stroke of luck happens. I am just interested in whether or not it will happen at all. That's the most important thing.
I literally can't understand the actual value of that amount of money. I mean in cash it would fill a shipping container or something. You couldn't even spend it. It's completely out of my depth.
Thanks Hank. I doubt these are the same league as the Bury owner... But if it needs done fair enough.
There are ways to push the boundaries, City have proved that
iv always wondered, what with life being so short, if you have ten billion, why do you want 15 billion? why not just relax and enjoy lifePut it this way. You have 7 grand in cash in your pocket, you fish out a tenner at the bar from your massive role of cash. In their terms that’s the equivalent of £100m. It’s insane
think it was tongue in cheek mateWhy would early leavers put them off?
They would of already had the money in tickets sales by then.
Have you worked out what a package holiday is yet, you dopey knacker?I will when the deal is done and over the line. Please don't act like these new potential new owners are. That's all I am saying.
