BUT using Donald and Methvens already I side out knowledge of the club will help to hit the ground running. The clubs already close to sustainable. If we can achieve that under rich owners and work our way up the divisions sensibly we could be laughing

FWIW I think this is brilliant and if can’t have some optimism over something like this then no point following a club so I understood the mags being excited as well.

Sunderland = enjoying some optimism

TBF it was obvious that the mag takeover was big mike's annual mag wind up. This seems to be more substantial

ah now..we arent close to sutaianble now becaise we dont generate anyting like the cash to fund transfer spending..if we can be break even at the opearating level with all investment going to transfers and other one off costs that would be tremendous..

how many times? the mags takeover was rumours, this is being widely reported by respected sources as happening

they wont be investing for fun...they will be taking money out at some point, probably just means us being saddled with debts again as they take loans and pocket the cash
