Ha'way man! Hurry up.

I keep opening a bottle to celebrate...
Then I drink it.
So I open another bottle to celebrate...
Then I drink it.
...

Anyone ever tried making one of those 'bottle xylophones' ?
A few more days and I might give it a crack...

So to summarise - Rev said the takeover would be completed Thursday or Friday, then for the BBC to come out and say it wont be until next week as the paperwork is dragging on. Then for Rev to say afterwards he'd had a text earlier in the day saying next week as well but he wasnt allowed to reveal it.

Then Rev said the hold up is staffing issues namely the manager and a replacement has been lined up, then for Roker Report and ALS to deny it and say that Ross is staying.

You've managed to summarise by getting almost every aspect wrong ...

.... ffs man, that's quite pathetic

It wasn’t the new owners it was a md meeting that included a few small local businesses a friend of a friend works st the club he was supposed to be there but never went

Trust me to back on the wagon ( well morning boozing any way )

That's my biggest worry too. I don't think he's a villain but he would always take the money over Sunderland, it's impossible to argue otherwise and I guess you couldn't blame him.

You couldn't blame him for pocketing an extra 5 million absoloutly. I suppose the saving grace is that he is staying on and keeping shares, so if Dell are proving they are going to take the club forward and hopefully back to the PL then the value of the club will rocket and he can sell his shares in a few years for a lot more than an extra 5 million.
Add to that I think it is difficult to find a genuine buyer for a club who is willing to put their money where their mouth is, look how many times Newcastle have been dicked around so I think and hope Donald wouldn't be so foolish to mess around a serious player at the 11th hour.

Well, we all knew there was an imminent takeover long before then, the only thing that we didn't know was the timeline. He then claimed it would be Thursday or Friday, which it wasnt, and then that it was being held up because we were lining up a replacement for Ross, which we aren't. But I've already pointed that out and it's the last I'll say on it as we need to get back to the exciting stuff.

We knew something was in the pipeline. But we thought we knew that at the end of the playoffs with that other bloke. Reiver said on tuesday that it has been done and completed. That did not appear anywhere else. Then other media joined in.
He said that they were coming back into the country and supposedly they are here.
He has said however that he thinks it may be down to staffing and that this may signal ross going

Bit worrying that about SD getting cold feet and looking at another deal mentioned a few pages back by an ITK?

These not gunna be pumping the cash in then?

The media know nowt. These people aren't small time idiots, it'll be announced once it's done and only once it's done. There will obviously be the odd leak along the way, as might be the case here with Reiver.
