Takeover Rumours

Aye that would be my one misgiving if it was Allardyce. He'd make sense in that he's an experienced manager who knows the club so might have been advising them, he's popular here, he'd probably take it if the money was good and you'd back him to be a success, but buggering off halfway through a match did leave a bad taste. Still, the change didn't really work for either party, so I'd give it a go.
Dont think he is realistic tbh imo, would love him back mind

Chris Wilder would be a superb appointment. Said it at the start of last season and strong links to SD. Made a decent start to his Premier life.

Ha'way lads, imagine Sunderland with three at the back and one of our centre-halves powering forward like Benno used to go on the charge from the halfway line towards the Fulwell to win a corner.

Sounds belter until you picture Ozturk dribbling the ball and then it knocks you sick again.

No f***ing way to I want to see Tom f***ing Flanaghan attempting to power forward with the ball. The sight of it would make my eyes bleed.

Haway mate. I’m not aware of the actual figures but if he’s going from something like 80% of the club to maybe 5%, what do you think happens to the rest of his shares? He sells them to the new boys, that’s how they take over.
Doesn't he owe money back to the club though? God knows. I'm not even going to pretend to know the ins and outs of it all. Going to the match and winning is my main concern.

I think of the "big"named mentioned he's the most realistic tbh. If we could offer him enough money I think he'd drop into league one in a heart beat, he's at the end of his career so he won't need to think about how damaging it would be if he went here and failed in this league unlike others. With money to spend (if forthcoming) he'd be confident of overseeing our rise back up the leagues which would give him a good and note to his career. Mind, from what Reiver is saying it sounds like it's someone currently employed so it's likely not BSA

Aye maybe, he'd be a decent shout. Mind from what Reiver said about how he'd lose all credibility if he said the name it sounds like, assuming it's a manager, it must be someone we'd almost laugh at him for suggesting, and I don't think Hughton (or Allardyce to be fair) really fall into that bracket. It's going to be a long few days!
Didnt he hint at mick mccarthy?
