that's why he has been continually employed in football since he left us. I enjoyed his time here, but that was his time here and no more.
 
The last 20 pages or so have been responding to that.

In particular revealing that a retired English manager has been advising them.

It's a common practice when clubs are selecting a new manager or whatever, we all know that.

It's hardly a surprise that prospective foreign owners would contact someone with some idea of Sunderland and the club.

I'd have personally spoken to Quinn who's well connected, knows us and has seen a lot at the club ...

... he'd make a shit manager though :lol:

To be honest, I was right behind the goal, and I was convinced it was going over the top. It seemed to dip hugely just before it reached the line.
Gary Bennett said on the radio it swerved one way then another and that Maddison had done that on purpose. Not good enough for Richard Hill though.

Worked well when we did the same using Howard Wilkinson
