Takeover Rumours

Latest from Riv. It's looking like Thursday or Friday - they can't organise everything before today's match. Investment may be a bit quicker than slow and steady; if a change is needed and will cost money, it will happen regardless.

the papers have said in the last few days its being pushed for completion this week

We were never winning that game, even after the gift of an early lead. I think most supporters knew we’d be beat in ET if that late winner didn’t come. Pathetic ‘performance’.

Disagree. I was pretty confident, we were controlling it and felt we would get the winner if anyone was going to.

Daft foul by Ozturk and the defence falling asleep for the quick free kick and it was all over.

Think you will find your embarrassing everything you say is just rubbish you need to log off. First you say I slated BSA and know you realise your wrong you just keep coming back with more rubbish, I am a manager now all be it not professional but have my preferred style of play, if I was manager of safc I would have my preferred style of play. This argument of yours has literally nothing to do with running a football club
Have you ever ran a football club?

Were we at the same game, mate? The whole Wembley performance was a joke IMO.

I don’t have an agenda. I believe they got this football club for a song and yes, have done some work around cutting costs. I have never been a fan of them, from getting supporters in to replace the seats to the twitter presence, the denigration of agents via the podcasts, the undermining of the manager with the 100 point malarkey, the different accounts of the money that was used to purchase the club, the direct criticism of our fans following defeat at Wembley when we had 3-4K unsold tickets, the complete and utter mishandling of the Josh Maja situation and so on. That isn’t an agenda, that is just my take from their time at the club. I accept other people see things differently and if having them here means that we move on with what look to be serious investors, then fair enough. What I have never been able to accept is the complete disregard on this board for an alternative view to their presence.

It should also be noted that Donald has carried out many differing aspects of genuine human kindness during his time here and the people he has affected during that will be forever grateful. I completely understand and respect that.

None of it is saying he is a bad man, he isn’t. But at the same time, I don’t want him running this place.

But compared to where the last 2 poeple we had running the place, they are no worse, But from a financial point of view I would say better. If you took away the social media and general openness the things they could have done better aren't as big as the things Bain and Byrne could have done better.

Which hopefully we got a DoF to run the football side of things, and if they keep SD as managing the club side of things, that system could work. But if the rumors of methven going and these lads bring in their own pr team, it could be if they bring a whole new system in, they would bring there own managing director aswell, SD might just be an advisory role, and a small steak in the club

And based on the fact they've made it an attractive proposition to mega wealthy investors, who wouldn't touch us with a barge pole previously.

That's down to Bob Murray more than these owners - we were untouched previously because we were in the Championship and because the debt was huge (Short took far too long to accept he was going to have to bite the bullet on that)

Inadvertently the best thing that could have happened is us not going up last year!
