Ross doesn't seem capable of good football so that sounds like a good excuse for him, although I don't expect good football either. I do expect us to look better than sides like Rochdale or Accrington and it doesn't require good football to do that.

Also regarding Ross, he said said clean sheets will get us promoted this year and not goals which is odd considering we haven't had one all season.

last season I saw the worst refereeing I have ever seen and I am 63 and played football since I was 5

even the game which had a EPL referee was atrocious.

the Mcgeady point is that it was the mentality of the opposition to stop us playing by whatever means.

look at the behaviour of opposition managers / coaches. they are constantly in the ear of the linesman.

at the start of last season down at the swc, oviedo was tackled late and he was injured. linesman had to of seen it as he was looking straight at it. nobody else about.never even got a foul. The player later limped off and was out for a good number of games

Yes but it's not a conspiracy to stop us from being promoted. The bad refs referee all the other fixtures in this league as well.

I'm not saying refs aren't shite but it's a totally different conversation. Luton had shit refs as well and won the league.

That's what the worry is........................Yes, at the minute,we are winning games with rank performances. But as we all know from past experience, once your not doing it (winning) then its bloody hard to get that mentality back as showed up towards the end of last resulting in expensive trips to London only to capitulate . We certainly did grasp defeat from the jaws of victory.

We scored 3 goals yesterday. One was a worldy, one was a good finish after their defender pulled out of clearing it for no reason and the other we were put through on goal by their player.

Can't rely on stuff like that happening every game over the course of the season. Need to improve performances to have any chance of automatic.

It is not a conspiracy theory and i cant say how good or bad these refs are at other games as I dont attend them

I suspect it is because of crowd size /noise they have never ref'd before. (that doesn't account for the performance of the EPL referee whose name I cant recall).

when crowds are low there is less pressure on officials, so may account for less bad games.

It also ups the anti for the opposition in that it is their cup final. It does not help when opposing teams fall down and writhe in agony so when the 3 things happen, is it a perfect storm.

I am not saying JR is not to blame, all I am saying, is that it appears this maybe his thinking and the reason for his negativity at times.

His thinking and reading of the game cant be all bad as he got ST Mirren promoted

We play away in front of small crowds and the refs are no better.
