If we don't give managers time and space to manage the club we will never actually know.. There are no managerial jobs on earth where you can manage to the best of your ability and have the job running as you want it straight away.. We have changed managers quicker than some people change their pants and it just hasn't worked. Yes there is sometimes a short term gain, but in the long term it is probably the main reason why we are in this mess right now..

still people having a pop at riv i see...it is very hard to give very accurate information that anyone will believe when so many details need to be kept secret, when jobs can be compromised in those circles we are not talking about some slack jawed slag from some call centre who can walk out and go to the next call centre down the road, such people like to keep a lot of things as secret as possible until everything is fully finalised.

this is also why a lot have decided against trying to post any news they hear, some of the abuse is mental and the original news can become so twisted that even a joke comment becomes a serious rumour (wegner for example)...i am pretty sure the majority of us are just sat waiting for the official news and enjoying the banter, realising most is tongue in cheek, relax, give the lads a break when they try to post news because if they are talking bollox it will soon come out as such.

Reiver reminds me of that lad who had the inside scoop on Sam Allardyce back when Quinn was chairman. It was a done deal, except it wasn't.

Hopefully this one doesn't fall through either, if it does then it doesn't necessarily mean he was full of shit.
