If Methven is held in decent regard by the proposed new ownership then we are screwed. The man is completely incompetent when it comes to football and the governance or conduct required within a football club.

It would be nothing less than a disaster if he remains. Let alone having a say in the future direction of a club he has completely undermined as he has zero respect for its customers.

The way everyone is talking you’d think Methven was about to be given enough power to reverse a decision to sack Parkinson or something.

Have I missed something since yesterday afternoon or is everyone pissing their pants over speculation/Chinese-whispers?

I think a business likes ours needs a Methven - someone who will challenge tired or lazy behaviours and push people to get more out of them. I remember the comment he made about the Ticket Office/Admin staff all "leaving at 4.55pm" and I agree with him to a degree. Every successful business has someone like him.

Having said that, I wouldn't want him anywhere near the media or the "front of shop". His dirty work needs to happen off-camera and away from the public eye.

Again, not necessarily saying Methven, but someone like him. The likes of Donald and Davidson were too soft
