I get the cynicism mate but the emails I’ve seen have spanned months and if it’s a lie, it’s an incredibly elaborate one which is also involving local radio presenters, national and international journalists, the CEO talking about it on podcasts, club statements etc.

I’m cautious for the same reasons you are but I’m increasingly optimistic of things to come.. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for some good news next week

I hope youre right. In my opinion, of the ITK's youre the one that come across with credibility.

The devil will be in the details for me, if Methven remains influential then I'll lose faith in the new ownership immediately. I don't mind him or Donald retaining a stake to simply sell when/if we make it back to the Prem, that's just common sense.

Sadly CM and SD have both proven incompetent at best, I'm willing to give Sartori a chance if he instantly removes their influence.

The FPP deal became a pantomime which ultimately flopped when a whisker from being done.
An owner attending Consett SAFCSA and allegedly suggesting the deal was done and another allegedly convincing a fanzine it was as good as completed to the extent they released a SunDELLand t-shirt before anything had been formally announced.

We can have an opinion and not cut up rough . And that can include not trusting anything that any of the current ownership say . Because we were manipulated from day one . The briefing through the fanbase has or will start and the narrative will subtly change.

What I'm meaning is that there would be little or no point in asking when he's leaving. More realistic to question what role he would be intended to take, and express some reservations if the answer is concerning. Because they wouldn't be about to reply "some time next week".
