In Louise Taylor’s piece for’The Guardian’ published on 13th November she said “Sources close to the deal expect it to be completed in the next fortnight”

Here we are two days away from that timescale.....

Others have said early December.

We‘re all desperate for a resolution and I can certainly understand people being very sceptical about this latest deal.

After all Nick Barnes was allegedly told it would be done before the season started, then the end of the following month, the month after that etc etc.

The only ray of hope for this deal is that the story was broken and backed up by National papers.

It was so long ago but when Barnsley. Spoke about the beginning of the season for the takeover to go through....the expectation was that fans and associated revenue stream would be allowed back into the stadium in September.....
