Check my posts from that summer marra. I don't know where Nixon gets his info from but since he gave a specific week of when it was 'expected' to go through which was the same week as the club big mouth was giving to anyone who would listen I've had my suspicions.

A bit of googling on Campbell shows he is a right dodgepot and a bit of a charlatan. Yet our esteemed owners not only gave him the time of day but let him speak to the manager, introduced him to staff and invited him to Wembley. You can trace lots of failed businesses to Campbell, including dodgy timeshares in Tenerife ffs. A Falkirk fan uncovered the lot but it all passed our owners by.
