Looking at the past owners we have had including our current owners, what seems to puzzle me is that if anyone decides to spend many millions of pounds why do they not try and protect their investment by rooting out all of the amateurs and chancers across all levels of the club and replace them with people with proven track records?

point in case merchandise was always crap in the past the shops have always been a joke.

If any takeover is to be successful in the eyes of the inventors then this mythical caring club needs to realise that a professional club needs to be run professionally at all levels.

If I had to guess, they've got the Sporting Director decided in. For the avoidance of doubt, this is pure guesswork - I've not hears anything. But if they had a shortlist last weekend, the timing would be about right.
