Anyone know what the questions being asked by ALS were?
I think that'd give us a clue as to whether this was because there's something absolutely imminent, or whether they are kicking the can down the road as they've done so many times before. Choosing to believe the former for now

I've done this and I've had it done in 8, I've seen it take 21. But regardless, if I trailed the idea of investment/takeover to stakeholders as being something that could potentially be done in 6 weeks, you can bet that they'd be asking why it had taken almost 3 times as long if it got to 17 weeks.

I never believed six weeks was remotely realistic.
Whats probably happened is that no one at the club could be arsed to take a meeting filled with uncomfortable questions, so they've came up with this advanced talks bollocks to keep us entertained for another few weeks, whilst peddling the NDA line.
