Takeover News/Rumours

I’d say I was surprised however, I’m not. Not in the slightest.

It’s obvious something is going on behind the scenes however it’s so easy to cancel it and blame it on a takeover that dragged on for months.

A few things I don’t get.

- the club were in a ‘period of exclusivity’ when the RAWA meeting was announced
- if they were expecting a takeover to have been done by the time of the meeting- they wouldn’t have planned it as they wouldn’t have been at the club to attend the meeting

It’s an easy cop out. It’s disgraceful. And that RAWA statement is not strong enough.

It’s the easiest excuse in the book. Schedule something and then all of a sudden, X Y & Z has happened, let’s reschedule.

Strange like. If it was imminent, surely you just delay the meeting a week. Why mention takeover talks. Who knows. The whole thing is doing my head in

or they were expecting something to happen sooner and new owners/investors/chairman would do the meeting.
