Takeover News/Rumours

Donald doesn't want to sell. He thinks he's onto a good thing and can sell for a huge profit once we get promoted. The rest is all bluster, smoke and mirrors

This. He's gambling on promotion this year to get more coin, he deserves it to be fair, the amount of his own money he's put into the club

I decided a long time ago to stop looking at any of the takeover threads because I find it hard to believe that anything will happen during the current pandemic situation. Donald will just burden the club with the debt as the balance sheet will take it........

More chance of finding Lord Lucan than any takeover going through in the near term.......

(Hopefully I am wrong and end up getting dogs abuse for the above statement)

Nobody will buy a football club until well after this virus is under control, it might well be the end of Football if it turns out the vaccine doesn't work and no herd immunity

I'm putting a 1 week deadline on the whole thing now, if it hadn't happened or there's nothing announced then they're just arguing the toss and it's not close imo.

It won’t be, in those circumstances we’d just have to get used to more people passing away and prioritise funding a genuinely world class NHS to try and reduce the number that do.
Several clubs have changed hands during this pandemic too, if all parties are fully committed to purchase/ sale it’ll happen.

Unless its Wigan or Charlton?
Not for £37m they haven’t, with basically zero income.

Wigan and Charlton will have had plenty of creditors requiring payment. I bet they still cost a few quid.

It isn't news, it's my opinion. In January he said he'd sell the club. Here we are nearly a year on and we are nowhere near. I've thought all along that he was going to keep his head down and see how this season transpired. If it looks like we are going up, he'll sweat it out and sell for a bigger price in the summer. All IMHO of course............
agreed , even though we clearly aren't going up, it boils his piss thinking he might miss out on the extra coin of selling a championship club.

Mate has just text me to say that American businessman Steve Cohen (Owner of NY Mets) is the one who'll be taking majority % of the club

I like the Mets as me and my mates went to see them when we were over there years ago.
They're a bit shit as well so felt right supporting them.
