There's no gaurentee a new manager would be installed. At least initially. If one was you could in theory see a Keano styly transfer deadline. If for example it was SKP i think he's familiar with the squad as he's been touting for the job for the last 6-9 months and likely has an idea who he'd want anyway. You've also got Jones who's been handeling recruitment. I'd guess he's got a few names he'd go for but can't afford. Don't think targets would be an issue to be honest. It'd only be to get us to next window anyway as think we'd really go for it in January depending on who buys us and where we are in table by then.

By the way really going for it in League 1 may mean 1-2 million in transfer fees and wages. Won't mean huge deals this year but will possibly enable higher fee's the season after, all would in theory be more sensible than under short but the best appointments we'd make outside the dug out would be the recruitment staff.

Can someone please explain why SKP should get a crack at the job? Apart from sentiment, what else has he done to deserve a shot. I love skp btw

Still cryptic then! Not having a go but if he trusts you you'd at least think he'd tell you what he thinks is happening! Still, sounds like he thinks it'll be Friday and won't be any of FPP, Fuhrman etc, and that ties in with the tone of his posts when he was on here when he was saying "what takeover" and the likes. I'd presume he's hinting more at something like just sartori buying Donald out and certainly nothing exciting. Let's just wait and see what happens, someone will be right eventually!

That’s his plan though.
