The fanzines and supporters groups got played last time by the owners and ended up looking stupid. They are doing well to keep as far away as possible from takeover talk.Barnes is the useful idiot this time

To be honest,what he gets out of it is the opportunity to still see our club as a potential cash cow. That can be evidenced by the fact this time last year,the yanks were just about to sign along the dotted line for completion of the sale of the club.It was only at the last minute that SD felt it appropriate to insert certain conditions allowing him to maintain a vested interest in the club ensuring he would be due certain financial incentives.The rest is history.

I am certain this will always be the case with any other potential buyers.

Grays been on talkshite a couple of times recently including yesterday and I’m assuming nowts been said about safc as it would’ve been all ower this place if it had. That alone is telling.....

I am inclined to believe there may be a deal, more 60/40 towards it happening than not now. Ask all of us who have been anywhere near a deal though and I guarantee none of us would be too carried away until this goes public and someone breaks cover to say they're interested.

I agree with you

ultimately it would be critical to his business reputation, if he is found out telling and obvious lie.

Where people has said he lied (not my words) before, can easily be explained and the truth will lie somewhere between.

As you say, if no nda has been signed, that would be ultimate proof of a massive lie.

However signing an NDA is no guarantee of a sale progressing, but it would prove he has been trying to sell the club.

There will be business life after SAFC for SD, so it will important for him to keep some credibility as opposed to the Rich Drinks fella who does not have a lot of credibility at all.
 
If it is Glenn Fuhrman they are nailed on to be involved in some way.
I don’t think they will be involved on the investing/money side but possibly on the board.
Rumours last time Nath was lined up to become commercial director.
