The fans are giving him an easy time just now because there’s a belief new ownership is on the horizon. If it wasn’t, he’d be public enemy number one.

Given fans aren't allowed in the Stadium what exactly could fans do? I don't think he's getting an easy ride I think there's just little that can be done in the current climate.

With the wage cap in place I can't see the new owners changing much immediately. The biggest change would be getting shot of PP which would mean finding a manager who plays a similar type of football or accept that a new manager would want time to bring in players to suit his style

even the current owners where /are unsure which way it was going to go hence the vagueness of it all from different sources.What they wanted and what others where offering where two different things.
What has been apparent is the American(s) have never gone away.The charges against the club tell us all that.

Like owt else mate in business ,things do change and negotiations break down due to people not being 100% committed or down to money etc etc.

I’ve stopped telling my lads jobs I’m negotiating /tendering on As they take it as fact I’ve got that job and feel deflated when that said 12month job doesn’t come off.it’s the same on here,people can’t accept it.
