I don't hate him at all. I honestly think his intentions were genuine and based on first season promotion then selling up. Quick money to be made. I want him gone now obviously.

I really don't believe many people outside those directly involved have any information at all, and in the vacuum unfortunately people feel the need to make things up to satisfy their audiences.

I usually get quite a few bits of info which I keep to myself, and which make me laugh at some of the so called ITK people - but right now and for the last few months I have heard diddly squat.

We all know that SD is prepared to sell, we all know his asking price and we all know there are more than one set of interested parties - but the progress of any talks and the parties involved is being kept very quiet (as it should be).

The speculation doesn't really help anyone, and as always, we might as well just sit back and wait for an announcement.

Ah well fair enough, lots of different conflicting stories, I thought he did. That's quite astonishing though. I can't believe after his past 3 season failures, the apparent 'abuse' and taking his kids hostage, that he still wishes to have an 'active role'.
I hope for everyone's sake he doesn't once a takeover occurs

If I was considering buying SAFC I would certainly hold fire for the next few months. After yesterday's performance there's every indication that a buyer might be able to pick the Club up for a song towards the end of this season. I also can't see why there would be any rush or desire to acquire it in the present economic climate

It does feel a little bit ironic hearing such a sensible sentence from the person who owns the SMB :P bit like reading quotes from the owners of the Sun talking about responsible journalism.

That's a bit unfair but quite funny. I doubt that the sort of rigorous censorship that the SMB would have to impose in order to meet such high standards would go down very well. It's perhaps best that in most cases the readers themselves are left to make use of their own common sense and judgement.

This is exactly right.

None of the people on here who are pretending to know anything really do or ever have done and for some reason want to pretend they do. And others believe them. Weird all round if you ask me, at least there's the ignore button on here to drown some of it out.

Do we really know the asking price though? In terms of SD dodgy add ons he might want etc. The greedy unt.
 
I would suggest that this period of exclusivity is a load of bollocks.
I thought fir a while that he would invest some money into decent players we’d start the season strong and in two months when we are top suggest that the deal has fallen through but he will keep it with less flack from the fans because we are doing well.

That’s my thoughts based on the fact that there has been no rumours or hint who’s discussing the deal which upto now has been the worlds best ever secret.

Are you saying that there is no period of exclusivity arrangement at the moment? As a POE. Usually means they have agreed a price subject to not finding anylandmines in the boardroom.....
