They just arent included in the squad. You then can't play them and they're effectively being paid for nowt. Same as now when in the first team in the opinion of most including me. Question is how much owners want promotion. We'll find out in the next month as if we're not sold before Christmas and have at least a sporting director and new manager in place we'll struggle to finish midtable at this rate.
