Just had a look at the Echo article about this American bid, it mentions that Donald would retain a share with this one also. The bloke obviously stated a blatant lie when he said that he wanted to sell up completely.

I’d be happy for it to drag on another month or so if it meant being completely rid of the 3 amigos. I’m sure the majority of fans would love a fresh start.

So it looks like he’ll consider any deal from anyone who’ll let him retain a percentage. Horrible greedy little shitehawk

I honestly don’t think a takeover is remotely close to happening. We don’t even know if league one will exist in a few months time given several clubs could go under, the whole hierarchy of English football could be different. Would be risky to purchase a football club in those conditions, also how will the club make money with no fans? Will fans even return in the same numbers a few years down the line? Many may call it a day, many won’t be in work anymore etc.

Yeah was just about to post this. Every single angle seems to include the twat retaining a stake. Genuinely can’t see why any credible, ambitious or business savvy buyer would allow him to do so. No one is going to come in without doing their research and whether it is a minority stake or not and whether he’ll even have zero say or not as long as he’s here the stench of his failure will linger on. Anyone can see he’s not wanted here. Makes me question the credibility of whoever takes over because your down to people who’ll entertain him remaining if only part of the club is for sale. Which credible person is going to buy part of a club with these cretins riding off the back of them? You don’t make fortunes allowing that type of thing to happen.

I think it’s clear now and should have been from the outset, that the only way SD would leave totally, was if he were to receive his full asking price. In reality we know that was never going to be achievable so therefore a sale with him retaining a stake was the the only realistic outcome. All of the stuff he talked about during the Barnes interview was pure bullshit.
