That’s at most a secondary reason. It’s also because it’s a double header with the Charlotte Edward’s thing. There’s a deliberate policy this year to try to do those with the women second as otherwise no one turns up. They have the same next week and others do too.

It’s an ECB initiative. So you could argue it’s the ECB favouring a new regional franchise tournament over the older county one. Although they’d probably prefer to give it a different spin.

Been out shopping.

To lose the toss twice and have 3 sensational innings so far is worlds apart from our T20 performances of recent years.

Always have to back yourself to defend this sort of score. Only takes a wicket if a side is chasing well for them to behind the rate a lot of the time
