T20 World Cup - October 2022

It's a shame really because as much as Ireland deserved to beat us on how the game had progressed I still think we had enough to win the game had it gone the distance
Agreed, only ourselves to blame for position we were in but frustrating still.

I can't put my finger on it but I've struggled to get interested in this competition.

I don't know whether it's the scheduling of the matches, whether it's because there's two per day, or the amount of rain-affected results. It just all feels a bit detached, like an afterthought between bigger fixtures.

Weather doesn’t look good for England tomorrow. Ozzie ground staff might have the covers off.
All jokes aside the forecast looks brutal overnight and the morning so surely they cover the majority of the field (thinking like in Sri Lanka). Wouldn’t be surprised to see the outfield left untouched though and waterlogged.

I've thought this the whole time. And as I've said before, I don't think it helps that we had another T20 WC 12 bloody months ago

Watching the Afghanistan match. There’s always one bowler that blows it for the team. Ahmad is handing the match to Sri Lanka.
