Game full of errors but very exciting.
I don’t like the Pakistanis because of historical cheating and they were at it again had a camera review not given a four on a boundary shot as Haris Rauf didn’t voluntarily signal a four in full knowledge that he knew that the ball had hit the cushion

Good question. When the US beat England 1-0 in football at the 1950 WC comes to mind. The US were made up of part time players.

In that game England were very unlucky though while today it sounded like the US were the much better team.

Combat sports can take a punch out of nowhere to win(granted I've no idea how many rounds it was before Tyson lost)

Pakistan started playing international cricket 67 years before the USA. There's no way Pakistan over a full 20 over game should have even made this one close let alone be second best the entire game and manage to lose.

I think it was the 10th round Tyson got knocked out . Can’t remember if it was still 15 rounds for that fight

England never bothered entering the World Cup until 1950 iirc

Presumed they were above it all. We could have had three wins if they had

Tyson got beaten up over 10 rounds
 
Cracking game of 20/20. USA were made hard work of it near the end of the 1st innings but did well to get it to a super over. Sunday’s game could be a cracker, taking everything into consideration - the rivalry, the importance of the game for Pakistan & the pitch in New York
