@TheRey will be happy to know I’ll be supporting his boys tonight - which is nothing against our many friends from Yorkshire, but simply due to my belief that Yorkshire shouldn’t be there at all.
My cynicism towards FTECB leads me to believe many other counties wouldn’t have ‘profited’ in the way they have from Leicestershire’s misfortune.
However it must also be said that the number of Yorkshire players who remain unavailable to them due to their international commitments is a disgrace and makes a mockery of the format and county cricket - which again is due to FTECB’s criminal neglect of county cricket.
(Bairstow, Root, Malan, Rashid and Brook all missing, however Willey has now been made available)
