Yorkshire doing ok so far tonightOn a slightly related note. Can anyone advise on the best way to get from the ground to Durham Station on a Sunday night, to catch a train at 6.50? Are buses reliable or should I bite the bullet with a taxi?

Parking was pretty seamless on Monday, one guy pointed us to a space then someone looked to be in every row taking a contactless payment, and she told us about the online discount for next time,
bit gutted though as my usual parking space the locals have caught on and were out in force saying residents only. although i know that street doesnt actually have parking permits
Some streets have official council permit holder signs up but they don't cover evenings. I haven't seen any of the temporary "resident only" signs this year for the red ball game which appeared last year, but as I parked elsewhere on Monday I don't know if these temporary signs were out round the streets off Ropery Lane on Monday. Other council car parks on an evening and a Sunday are free anyway, so works well for the T20. 10-15 minute walk which worked well for us.
The temporary 'Residents Only' signs were on display in the Holmlands Park/Roman Ave area ie to the left as you walk down Ropery Lane.
They don't even like you walking through the estate never mind parking. The residents in Holmands Park are very precious, they didn't like me parking their even long before the official permit zone signs despite the fact I knew a resident and the fact part of the zone isn't actually owned by the council and not enforceable by anyone.
