T20 :: Northants v Durham

And that is perfection!
Well done Clarky
Well done Sowter
Well done Durham.

Pretty much this, but all the bowlers were brilliant in my view - perhaps with the exception of Glover. Mind I feel somewhat vindicated because I predicted last week that we may struggle from a seam bowling perspective but that our spinning attack would be key. That said, Parnell coming in with that spin variation gives us a real shot in the arm.

Batting for once looks stacked, I think we could see a three man opening rotation too because I think Jones will open some of the time.

One win is all it is though, got to keep our feet on the ground, but a win at a ground we’ve notoriously struggled at is a very good start to a season that has already been full of positives.

Dare to dream of atleast a home Quarter Final

Ha’way Durham

T20 on a Friday night has always been a great night imo. been a good game on sky tonight as well. Abbott of Surrey matched Andrew Symonds fastest T20 ton record of 34 balls

but watching clark tonight was fantastic and I thought lees played his role well, giving him licence to obliterate their attack. Only the second Durham ton maker behind Colly

then what a revelation Sowter was with his 5 fer , that should have been 6 and took the best bowling record from Colly

truely a brilliant performance

Wow I’m out and just saw the score

Can this season get any better?

I’m so so pleased for Graham Clark, one of the good guys and looking like a really good year for him
One of the nicest and kindest people we know. Got on well with him for a long time now through the cricket and I'm ever so happy for him as at one time I thought he was going to leave last year. Personally we are both delighted for him, he's a good bloke who deserves this success he works hard for the team

Is that the fastest century for Durham in any format?

Our centurion list in T20s can't be very big.

Thought maybe Stokes in a list A game but was off 88 balls, when he scored that 164 against Notts. Snail like compared to his championship one off 64
