7 is generally a batsman’s position though isn’t it? We had all-rounders at 3, 4 and 6 - in fairness I’m not worried about our bowling options in this side.

But in this format i dont see what he offers? Never looked like a big hitter, which you kind of want lower down the order late on, could maybe understand more him coming in 4/5 instead of pringle

Anyway, davies has done well here, decent score too! Hopefully get off to a good start with the ball, a win should all but secure a home tie

I would’ve had Weighell in too in fairness, but perhaps he’s injured/tired or perhaps they just felt too many bowlers may provide an unhealthy balance......?!
