T20 - Durham v Yorkshire


Left at 7.30pm. Was always temping fate when Durham opened with Drissell and Raine. :lol:

Speaking of Drissell...Well done to him as thats easily the best I've ever seen him bowl.

It didn't seem so close tonight trudging home. Couldn't believe how many cars were parked in CLS Park mind.:eek:

Had a nightmare getting to the ground tonight from Gateshead. On the way there just caught a travel update on the radio saying there was a 2 mile queue of traffic between J63 and J62 on the A1M. Was backed up to Washington Services so went off there and after trying to: drop into Birtley, go down A183 to J63 eventually got to the ground by cutting through Fencehouses and going past Lumley Castle. Every road had tailbacks on it, was in 2 minds to just give it upon and go home. Very good start with the ball. Then it pissed down, so who knows what might have happened.
 
Pesky weather, my son and his mates were with me tonight… hopefully a good game to attract them back next season… ended up a drinking session.
