100-7 at 6.66 an over. What a f***ing shambles.

Can't wait to see what spin Muchall puts on it.......

Moral victory?? Didn't lose by over 100?! :lol:
 
Well hastings has at least made this not a complete and utter embarrassment.

How can stoneman be so agressive in the four day game yet consistently fail to get beyond double figures in t20.(why the fuck is he captain also)

Dreadful captaincy again in the limited overs format.

Wtf is going on with our lower middle order? Breese in 10, Pringle 6 --- other days its the opposite way around? Borthwick is in the T20 team as a "make the numbers up" player. Hastings is wasted batting 8/9/10 in that format.
 
Just back.

Piss poor. To let them get 180+ plus when they were 50 odd for 4 off about 11 was bad enough.

The batting was shocking, Hastings apart. Not sure why everyone is so bothered, we never stood a chance in this format anyway.

At least the weather was nice though

pringle borthwick and rocky aint good enough breese and hastings should be moved up Richardson or Jennings for stoneman wood in for pringle
 
Just back. didn't get to see too much as was trying to keep my two year old entertained. Thought we were doing ok for the first 14 overs then we let them get away. There was really no coming back from that score but our batting was pathetic. 47/4 at 9 overs iirc. Still it was canny enough, nice and sunny, big crowd, and the bairn got to high five Chester the lion which made his week. im sure DCCC will have made a few bob tonight.

Breese went for almost 13 an over off 4 overs. He's 38/39. I'd question why he's in the side, let alone getting moved up the order

Pretty much my thoughts as well.

Can we not just opt out and concentrate on proper cricket?

We can't afford one.

In my personal opinion we should stick to what we are very good at, bringing through local talent and winning county championships;)

agreed we are just a bit light in the batting a ross taylor or Williamson would be great
 
I've never been so frustrated at a Durham match since the semi final when Chanderpaul was blocking it. Our first 10 overs were pathetic, with the blocking/'playing themselves in' whatever you want to call it, it never works in T20, you just fall further behind the rate. I thought our running was lethargic, not ever attempting to push for two to put fielders under pressure. Colly up the order I suppose could have worked after his knock against the MCC, but Pringle up the order?

Despite that it was a canny night, sat near a few Yorkies who were decent craic and it was nice to see Dizzy in the bar after chatting with fans at the end. It'd never happen in football anymore
