We lost that in the last few overs of our innings when we had batting in hand and in De Leede's first two overs.
Still would have taken this start in the T20 though and the Championship start is off the scale.

Lost, did well to take it deep, Raine and Sowter excellent, Ba de leede, night to forget . In truth once that over of 25 went they were always in control with Hales there. 7 in a row for Notts in 2020s against us.

then a world class batsman in Hales and the fractions that Moores survived were not crucial?

not batting raine higher up always confuses me, one of our bigger hitters.

I don’t see doneathys role if he is not bowling. I don’t see him clearing the ropes like raine and trev can
still I’m not too down. I enjoyed the game and they got a couple of things go for them

I do feel bowling 2nd was advantage abd the captain didn’t adjust well enough

I’m yet to see the Dutch lad, I’m pro local talent so for me foreign lads have to be ready to go best player in your team, not a project

As said above overseas need to be your best players
I’m probs tad harsh in the emotion tbf just not convinced overseas should be 2 year projects

First two matches 6 and 7 didn't feature
de Leede and Glover went round the park at Leeds and it took Raine and Sowter to help us recover from the first 5 overs we bowled there
