Deducted .25 for breaking salary cap last season. Going to bite us up the arse here
Ah that. The punishment that keeps on giving. Or taking away.

Basically we want Notts to lose their last 2 then. Lancashire looked on cracking form the other night, but then that means the Yaks didn't. :-?

Well, I've had the abacus out and of the 7 games on tomorrow in the competition - the results in all seven can in some way either help or hinder our progress. Bearing in mind I don't expect Notts to lose their last two, I'm looking to that third place to keep us interested......

As far as tonight was concerned, job done i suppose. Alls well that ends well, perhaps. Mackem DJ is right though, pretty much fuckall coming from the top order and then the middle to lower order pulls us out the shite. Smith at 4..... Just f***ing why?

I'd agree with this. With Benks or Colly fit I wouldn't even play Smith.

Going off the TV coverage, what were StJohns thinking standing in front of the side screen? Have they had no training/exposure to cricket

Strange captaincy again from Stoneman last night.

Smith has actually bowled well in T20 this season however he didnt bowl an over last night whereas Ryan Pringle was allowed to bowl out having gone for 8 an over... :-?

We don't make it easy for ourselves.

Got the win though and that's what matters, although I don't think we'll qualify. We need to win and rely on Notts losing both their games.

Cant help but think had Colly & Benks been fit we would have pissed this T20 comp with our mix of big hitters & allrounders (and even more so had purchased an overseas player).

Fairly simple, we only needed 6 an over and the ball was moving around, were looking to get the runs in a more conventional way. Didn't quite work, move on.

Can't believe how much moaning you are doing, we won with ease, and won the last 3 or 4 on the spin, without our captain. Jesus.

Anyone worked out our chances here?

Win the last one and we have maybe 50:50 chance of being a lucky loser?
