2pts for the NR might not be the worst thing.
Table assuming game is a NR

Lancs - 32pts +0.535
Northants - 32pts +0.207
Durham 30pts +0.598
Bears 28pts +0.228
Leic 26pts -0.211
Worc 24pts +0.057
Notts 24pts -0.565

All teams bar Lancs and Notts with 1 game to play. Meaning only Bears, Leic and Notts could catch us assuming we lose the last game.

Bears play Derbyshire so assume a win for them puts them onto 32pts
Leic play Yorkshire so that's a tough game and would need a decent swing in NRR
Notts play Worc on Thursday before Lancs which is a tough one and would need min 6pts from the 2 games

Bas isn't an overseas nor is Ackermann.

Despite them being South African/Dutch and Dutch.

Bas got in as a domestic player just before the Brexit closed the EU benefit he has.

We've also got Sowter who doesn't count as an overseas too. Neither will Gay even now he's hitched himself to Italy.

If Bedders had been available earlier in the campaign. We could have only played 2 of him,Foulkes and Neesham.

Now NZ have called them 2 up. We've only got Bedders now as an overseas and still could sign up an overseas player for Northants on Friday.

It's nuts we sign 2 blast specialists only to find they get called up right at the business end of our campaign. Surely someone at Durham must have known this may be the case?

If you add raine that's 3 of our brilliant bowling we lost as you say regarding foulkes we should have had replacements lined up

Neesham only got called up 2 days ago TBF.

He wasn't in the original sqaud whereas Foulkes was. As we had Bedders back for Lancs why we've not got a Foulkes replacement.

I would like one for Friday if we can get someone mind. Hope Ben Raine is back as he's been a huge miss, Potts did well opening in Foulkes place against Lancs.

Batsman lost us the game mind!

Heavy rain yesterday has caused problems in some areas

Just started to rain 30 mins ago, still raining now and covers still on, looks set in according to Daggers
