Considering the cheap deal with SAFC the count was 1 SAFC shirt spotted on an adult to 6 of that lot.

I saw 1 Newcastle shirt to easily 10+ Sunderland.

Just got back. Been a good few times before but that was the first time since the pandemic. Really enjoyed it and took my FIL and daughter to their first ever T20.

Stating the bleeding obvious but the wides cost us the win.

PS - The Lee Howey chant was a nice touch

Well home. Brought my brother with me who hasn't been for a while, father in law & my mate who that is his first live game, all enjoyed it. Me and the wife enjoyed our night and we are both satisfied with the result. Some good stuff, some not so good stuff but that is the nature of T20. We haven't lost which for Durham is good. I hope those who attended tonight have enjoyed. Well done tonight Durham

We can't go to either of them but 100% would like to go back at some point this summery, ideally a Friday night or Saturday day-time game

Thoroughly enjoyed it tonight. Got their early few pints outside sticky wicket, was red hot. Really close game where some better batting and some better ‘death’ bowling would’ve had us win it.

Only complaint, 30mins wait for a drink but never mind.

Walking out the back of the county Durham stand after the game I heard the Lee Howey song

Never park in the car park at the ground nightmare to get out after T20’s, easier and quicker to park in the town ( free after 2pm) .

We were lucky tonight - parked at the ground and was back home at Bishop Auckland by 10pm.

Was waiting for me dad after as he went to the toilet and he emerged from the crowd looking a bit bedraggled shouting ‘shearer is a wanker’

I think the idea was to bowl full and straight, not three stumps down leg-side.

Followed him as he backed away, it was still on the batters toes. Same ball had worked a couple of times in the over and been squirted out onto the leg side for a single, just unfortunate.

If he'd kept it out and the batter had managed to get enough on it to beat the offside field, who were all in the ring, he would have got pelters.

heard lots of Sunderland chants, I dont cate about t20 but just wanted a good show to get people back again

it was busy like, was good to see.

Finally managed to get out, DCC staff organised it well in the end as was carnage before they arrived, didn’t move for a good 20 mins.

You have county championship and one day (50 overs) 50 overs 11 am starts same wc county but a lot more hours of cricket.
