T20 Blast 2025

Judging by the spectators at Lords compared to Old Trafford it's still spring up north but the summer has arrived down south.
Really good crowd in at Lords but Old Trafford is woeful.

I almost feel sorry for the bloke interacting with the crowd and trying to whip up an atmosphere. He's not got a lot to work with either in terms of numbers or enthusiasm.

Opening day of the country's premier white ball.tournament, and unless you are into cricket you'd have no idea it was on.

Walking through Manchester yesterday and there's advertising for the 16.4 in two months time, but not for the Lancashire game that's happening right now.

The sport is completely fucked.

Crowds at OT have been poor for a long time now. That goes for both the Blast & Hundred.

Paul Allott on comms said they sold 4,000 tickets for tonight not sure if members get it in their package though.

Attendances are poor up North in general for t20 and the hundred be it test grounds or the smaller county grounds. Possibly only Trent Bridge gets a decent attendance. Appears a different story in the southern division.
