T20 Blast 2025

i thought some common sense had come in and they were doing Saturday fixtures but look like its just for that first Away one, Durham dont have any at home, so really the double headers are great but the women will start at 2pm, not ideal when they are all Fridays

and as my mate just pointed out to me, The local Durham womens leagues nearly all have their fixtures on a friday night too

Stupid question but is there no bairn prices for the season ticket for the t20 and you have to pay full whack? Or does the junior membership cover T20 to?

do you know anyone who signed up to allstars or dynamos at local club, they nearly always gets a massive discount for kids and adults tickets

From the Cricketer newsletter

“Efforts have been made to decrease the number of occasions where counties are playing T20 Blast matches on back-to-back days in the 2025 county calendar, The Cricketer understands, in a sign that player-welfare concerns are being listened to.

In 2024, there were 55 instances of fixtures taking place on consecutive days, many with lengthy distances to cover in between, often resulting in long drives – either on team buses or individually in cars – .

That was a 19-match increase on 2023, at pre-season meetings and at the year's end-of-season PCA summit. It was brought up again at this year's October meeting, which was held in Paris, with the message given to players that various stakeholders had worked to weave together a schedule for the Blast, which is to be released publicly on Thursday, that took welfare factors into account”.

So Durham begin their fixtures at Birmingham on 31st May and the following day 1st June are at Chester-le-street playing Lancashire

Yorkshire fan here. Apologies for the choice of venue for the match Yorkshire v Durham. York is totally unsuitable for a t20 match. Very small ground will not cater for more than 4000, no parking nearby, no seating unless you bring your own, and 40 miles further for the Durham supporters to travel. No consideration by Yorkshire for their own supporters or Durhams.

"no seating" should read "limited seating"

It’s only further for Durham supporters who live south or west of Leeds surely? It’s nearer for most (it’s pretty handy for me as I live down here). I presume the test match starting later that week is the reason that it can’t be at Headingley.

Better than Scarborough? Loved both my trips there
About the same tbh. Yes it's a bit basic and small as the poster above says, but that's part of the charm imo

York is closer for Durham fans really. Straight down the A19, A1 or East Coast mainline

Yorkshire have already announced it will be all ticket. Capacity probably 4000 maximum and we have more than 4000 members who will have priority, so best of luck to any Durham supporters who want tickets.
