Switch Controller Issues

Dunno if anyone here can help, tried a couple of things online to no avail. My daughter's switch controllers aren't working when attached to the console. It'll recognise one but not both, then suddenly both, then next minute not working again.

Message comes up that to play games need to remove them, and they work when not attached. They sync fine and everything, don't get it!

Is the rail that they slide into not slight bent or something. No idea how you would fix it but alway ls though they could be designed better.

Have you tried updating the drivers? They need updating all the bloody time for them just being controllers.

You have to go into settings to update them.
