Swindon Town 25/26 thread

You seem to be good with (and around) the ball - which scares teams. That mantra works when going forward & defending. Do it well and you won't go far wrong.

Get your shape right and make players fulfill their in-game responsibilities so the end result is a good one more often than not.

One team will get a hammering this season if we can sustain it for 90 minutes.
All I want is to get out of this woeful league. We have a chance.
The ownership concerns remain but the lads are all in agreement that we should enjoy the football because it’s not been fun for some time.

Good feet & reaction when around the ball, I assume that's something IH has built into your game. You can see from his seated position in the early footage how content/confident he is with what he's put on the pitch

Just win games consistently, the goals will come. Let's see if he tinkers when dodgy surfaces come into it to get in the way of your smooth play.

Thought my laptop was broken this morning, with the screen showing upside down. Checked the table and Swindon were at the top. LOLZ.

Their supporters must be in dreamland to come back from 0-1 down.

Not only settling for a 2-1 win, but to risk it all by going for the 3rd goal.

Their 3rd goal was in added time and they are top of the league only on second GD tiebreaker (GD same as 2nd place team, but more GF).

Top goalscorers in Europe.
That is incredible.

After the 3rd could have got another 2 as kept pressing for more.
Very early days but we should make a serious challenge this season. Best chance in years with such a strong squad in depth. Will be a few bumps on the way.

All you can do is deal with what's in front of you game by game, there's a long way to go yet!

Take your swindon shit off our message board you carrot munching tosser!!

😉 pleased yous are doing well!

Going to be a long day.
The lads already on the Guinness 😳
The "carrot munching tossers up for promotion" will make a good media headline.

Probably get done for financial irregularities and get demoted.🤣
I’m sure when I reach care home status we will have a bright future.

Is looking on the dark side of football life a Swindon fan thing?

...But maybe not bright for the care home staff if you're one of their clients. I can imagine you at breakfast with the carers saying "is he still on about irregularities? Bung him another Weetabix to shut him up - if he's still on about someone called Morfuni at toiletting time give him an enema to take his mind off it"
Hopefully a 0-0

Point for @Swindon On Tour
Clean sheet for Young
At least one point for STFC is my tip.

To be honest mate you get it.
Following a less fashionable lower league basket case of a football club definitely has its advantages.
You get the chance to laugh at yourself and end up entertaining others in the process.
Get me 4 pints and I turn into the Swindon Jethro much to the displeasure of my lads who instantly want to disown me.🤣🤣
“What happened was when we went to Barrow”

Unreal that we are having a good time on the pitch. Enjoy the moment and Morphoney remains a lying scum bag.
Up The Town.

The Warminster lads wanted to meet up later. Unfortunately they reduce our street cred as they have 9 teeth amongst them.
6 meeting today all cracking lads and characters. All I need is to catch the 18:25 out of Piccadilly and the marriage, dog, and life continues to roll.
