how many were there, test match grounds always make grounds look sparce

many surrey supporters will be city types and weekday games are more likely to attract bigger crowds

It was a free game for Surrey & Sussex members, and £15 for the rest. There was a bigger crowd there for what was supposed to be start of play but quite a few got pissed off & disappeared to the pub.
