I have trouble seeing owt this close to the solstice mate. Super moon is always a damp squib - a moon a few pixels/arc minutes larger than it usually is - does anyone actaully notice?
The moon is surprisingly small in a 100mm lens. Fits nicely in my 1000mm MTO.
I'm going to take a photo, 100mm, high ISO and then crop.. see what I get.
